Kaizer Chiefs have snapped up another striker in the shape of 24-year-old Colombian Efmamjjasond González. Here is all you need to know about the brand new Glamour Boy.
KAIZER CHIEFS GO BACK TO SOUTH AMERICA
Efmamjjasond González, aka Jason D, was born on June 12th 1999 and stands 1.89m tall. He was most recently with Real Santa Cruz in the Bolivian Division Profesional. He’s also already had stints in Argentina and his native Colombia. He’s scored eight times in 15 league appearances so far this term, a strike-rate which is better than a goal every other game.
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
As reported on this publication, the Glamour Boys have been chasing 24-year-old Colombian for the better part of this month. They’ve finally got their man, but how on earth did he get such a weird and wonderful name? Well, the letters of his name are all the first letters of each month in the Spanish alphabet:
It’s got to be one of the coolest and most original names in the PSL.

The Glamour Boys are still looking for their first league win of the campaign. However, they’ll travel with confidence following their dramatic 2-1 win at Cape Town City in the MTN8 quarterfinals. Given Msimango will be up against his old club and eager to prove a point. That being said, Galaxy can’t be taken lightly as they’ve yet to concede a goal in the DStv Premiership after two outings.
