Former Kaizer Chiefs’ winger Khama Billiat is reportedly closing in on a move to a new team.
Billiat’s agent Godfrey Bakasa confirmed that the Zimbabwean is negotiating with a potential suitor .
This is not mere rumour-mongering which has been prevalent since Billiat parted ways with Chiefs.
The agent confirmed the state of affairs surrounding the former Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker.
A lot has, of course, been said and written about the ex-Ajax Cape Town winger.

IS BILLIAT IN ZIMBABWE?
Questions have been asked about the whereabouts of the Zimbabwean.
Some are unsure whether the former Warriors’ attacker is still in Mzansi or not.
Or has he relocated back home to Zimbabwe to start all over again?
Bakasa answered all the questions from Zimbabwe when contacted on Saturday.
Truth is that the former Warriors player is still in South Africa, Bakasa said.
“He is still in South Africa. He has a house in South Africa and he is a citizen of South Africa,” he said.

HOW THE EX-CHIEFS STAR IS KEEPING FIT
The agent, who is also known as Vokal, fell short of giving a clue on Billiat’s next port of call.
The Zimbabwean agent did, however, give a hint on how the 32-year-old is preparing for the new challenge.
“He is very fine and is keeping fit by training on his own,” Bakasa said.
It remains unclear whether the DStv Premiership top player will remain in South Africa.
The agent, too, kept a tight lead on the next destination for Billiat.
“Very soon he should join a new team. We are just sorting out a few things,” Bakasa added.
The Harare-born winger took many by surprise when he decided against renewing his contract with Chiefs.
Since the season started, the Zimbabwean has maintained a low-key profile prompting speculation about his next move.
Billiat established himself in the PSL after starring for Sundowns.
He, however, never lived up to expectations when he switched to Chiefs largely due to injuries.
