KAIZER CHIEFS SIGNING OF THE DAY: ITUMELENG KHUNE

Khune was 20 and nobody could imagine he was destined to be a great Amakhosi icon. Has he surpassed Doctor Khumalo? Most probably.
GOLD MEDALS AND TROPHIES
Can you make a quick guess how many medals Khune has in his home lounge? The answer is seven.
Khune, rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the world when it comes to ball distribution, inspired Chiefs to three PSL titles, three Telkom Knockout trophies and one MTN8 Cup.
His 91 Bafana Bafana appearances included games in the 2009 FIFA Confederation Cup as well as the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Meanwhile, Khune is tipped to become Chiefs’ longterm goalkeeper coach.
