Chiefs to lose another defender to European club? Media reports reveal that Kaizer Chiefs could lose another defender to European club as he remains sidelined at Naturena. The word doing the rounds in South Africa is that Kaizer Chiefs could lose a defender, Reeve Frosler to a European club.

The South African understands that aRomanian club, FCSB are looking to lure Frosler from Chiefs to Europe, reports Phakaaathi.

According to a local football publication, FCSB have identified Frosler as a possible addition as he could reunite with ex-Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana.

CHIEFS TO LOSE ANOTHER DEFENDER TO EUROPEAN CLUB

Formerly known as Steaua Bucharest, FCSB snapped up Ngezana from Chiefs in July as also reported by this publication.
It was also reported that FCSB also tabled an offer for Frosler, but it was rejected by Chiefs at the time.

“I heard that they are not giving up on him. They still feel he could be a great addition to their squad, especially now that Ngezana is proving to be a great find for them,” a source told the Mgosi Squad.

“They are still monitoring him and other players in the PSL, because they have realised that this league could be a gold mine for them.

“And with him (Frosler) not getting much game time, it could be that Molefi Ntseki (the Chiefs coach) knows he might not have him for long.

“He can’t build his team around a player who could move at any time.”

NTSEKI RELUCTANT TO USEFROSLER

This publication also understands that coach Molefi Ntseki is reluctant to use Frosler considering the offer from FCSB.
According to Phakaaathi, Frosler said he understood Chiefs’ decision to keep him and would not be drawn to give more information on the matter.

However, it is mentioned that the 25-year-old former Bidvest Wits defender is now keen should FCSB come knocking, and the club is also still keen on him.

This information comes as Chiefs are preparing to face SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday night at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
