Kaizer Chiefs’ form will play a major role in the Springboks’ World Cup title defence.

How, you may be asking? Siya Kolisi! The South African captain and leader will need to be at his very best should the Boks win the World Cup out in France.

And Kolisi himself admitted in the past, that his two favourite soccer teams in Liverpool and Kaizer Chiefs, have a major influence over his emotions.

The Glamour Boys are gearing up for grueling month of fixtures which will coincide with the Springboks’ World Cup campaign.

This includes a do-or-die semi-final against Mamelodi Sundowns as well as meetings with the high-flying SuperSport United, Sekhukhune United and Cape Town City.

So please Amakhosi, if you can’t do it for yourselves, do it for the Springboks who need Siya Kolisi to be at his very best.

IT’S TOUGH WHEN KAIZER CHIEFS LOSE – SPRINGBOK CAPTAIN SIYA KOLISI

“I support Liverpool and Kaizer Chiefs! It is tough when they lose. We get it from people who know us, friends and family are also hurting. So, it’s understandable. It hurts me too, we’re here and playing on the field, and we’re playing the whole time to try and win the games.” – Springbok captain Siya Kolisi said in 2021 as quoted by IOL.
