Kaizer Chiefs overcame a first half deficit to beat Sekhukhune United in their DStv Premiership match on Wednesday, 27 September.
Amakhosi won 2-1 after trailing 1-0 at half-time at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Sekhukhune United took the lead in the 45th minute through midfielder Elias Mokwana.
However, Kaizer Chiefs were not to be denied and thanks to second half goals by Venezuela’s Edson Castillo (59th minute) and Mozambique’s Edmilson Dove (76th minute), they took home the three points on offer.
Thanks to their win, Kaizer Chiefs moved up to fifth place in the standings, with Sekhukhune United slipping to seventh spot.
Kaizer Chiefs will next be in action at home against Cape Town City on Tuesday, 3 October at 19:30.
Meanwhile, Sekhukhune United’s next league fixture is a home tie against Golden Arrows on Thursday, 5 October, also at 19:30.
