Soon after leaving Kaizer Chiefs in December 2022, Blom’s salary was made public, as per MLS’ protocols.

NJABULO BLOM LEAVES KAIZER CHIEFS
After extended reports linking him to Mamelodi Sundowns and rejecting Amakhosi’s new offer, the Glamour Boys suddenly announced that Blom was going to the USA to join St. Louis in December 2022.

Following the completion of the deal, the MLS Players Association revealed the 23-year-old’s salary
According to the figures, the Dobsonville-born star is on $246,000 (R4.73 million) in base salary, R28,188 (R543,000) monthly, and $338,250 (R6.51 million) in guaranteed compensation per year at his new club.

Meanwhile, Blom has enjoyed a solid 21 appearances since arriving in the states where he is coached by the former Amakhosi star Bradley Carnell.

In other news, one of Mzansi’s leading fitness trainers, Simone Conley, has revealed how she nearly moved to Chiefs.
Following success at Highlands Park, Banyana Banyana and Mamelodi Sundowns, Conley became a wanted woman before making a big financial move to Saudi Arabia’s women’s side Al-Ittihad in July.
In addition to AmaZulu’s contact, the highly-rated conditioning coach revealed that she was once on the brink of joining Amakhosi.

“I also did get a call from Kaizer Motaung Jr. and he basically told me that look, they want me as part of the team. I went there and did a presentation,” Conley told iDiski Times’ Lethabo Kganyago.
“They offered me the job, and for some reason, they retracted that two weeks later and went with someone else (chuckles).
“Yeah, they opted for someone else. But I mean it was meant to be, otherwise I wouldn’t be sitting where I am right now and I wouldn’t be going where I am right now,” she added.
