Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana finally made his official starting debut for FCSB and his performance has impressed the club’s top brass.

FCSB defeated Univ Craiova 3-0 in Romania’s Superliga with Ngezana featuring for the full 90 minutes, helping his side to a cleansheet.

Ngezana had to wait over two months to make hist starting debut, with the club’s president claiming he isn’t ‘trained’ enough when he just joined them.

In a rather sharp turn of events, the same club president, Gigi Becali now claims Ngezana is better than the Romanian national team captain and FCSB star Vlad Chiricheș!

CLUB BOSS MAKES SHARP U-TURN ON EX KAIZER CHIEFS MAN NGEZANA

“I was surprised to see that Ngezana is even better than Chiricheș. I was very impressed by Ngezana,” he told PlaySport as quoted by IdiskiTimes.

“He has strength, there’s nothing you can do about him. You pass him, he speeds up, he catches up and stops you. Ngezana, [Joyskim] Dawa, and a couple of central defenders will certainly remain [at the club].”

WE DON’T WANT TO CONCEDE – NTSEKI

“In terms of the tactics, I think it is something we will carry over from the last two matches into this match, so that everybody is ready and understands what is expected of him in possession and out of possession.” Molefi Ntseki told the Kaizer Chiefs Website.

“But the most important thing is we’ve been scoring goals from set plays, which makes us feel very confident going into this game.

“In the last two matches we did not concede anything, so I think it’s important that it’s a ‘zero concede’ game tomorrow and the most important thing is for us to score the goals.”

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has provided an important update on star man Keagan Dolly.

The Amakhosi midfielder has been sidelined with a knee injury since last season, but there is some good news!

Dolly, who has been out for over four months, has finally returned to training at Naturena.

While he’ll undoubtedly be gradually intergrated back into the starting lineup, Kaizer Chiefs will indeed be pleased that their talisman is back on his feet.
