Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates midfielder Joseph Molangoane is set to join ABC Motsepe League outfit Sunrise FC.
The 35-year-old recently left Marumo Gallants after spending three seasons with them.
In May 2020, Molangoane was on the brink of retirement following a severe leg injury he suffered in August 2018. Chiefs doctors were believed to have told the midfielder to take early retirement but the former Pirates winger decided to join Gallants instead.

This week, FARPost said the former Kaizer Chiefs man was training with Sunrise FC.
“Joseph Molangoane is with us. He joined us recently in the pre-season, but he has not yet signed pending a medical report,” the club’s chairman Thabiso Moral Thobane was quoted by FARPost.
“He underwent medical yesterday [Monday]. We are currently waiting for the doctor’s report. And he has thus far played one game for us. He is okay and we will make sure he settles well with the team.”
