A former Kaizer Chiefs defender has received his first personal award in Europe following his impressive display on Sunday.
Siyabonga Ngezana walked away with a man of the match award as his Romanian club, FCSB, beat Farul 1-0 on the day.
This was Ngezana’s first man of the match award, and perhaps a motivation going forward given the difficult start he had at FCSB.

KAIZER CHIEFS RELEASE NINTH PLAYER – REPORT
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly released a NINTH player in this transfer window following what was a disappointing stint since July 2022.
According to FarPost, Kamohelo Mahlatsi is no longer at Chiefs after the two parties agreed to mutually part ways.
Mahlatsi was limited to just seven appearances for Chiefs in his first season due to a number of factors, including injuries.
The arrival of the likes of Tebogo Potsane and Pule Mmodi brought huge doubt on the future of Mahlatsi.
