In 2014, he joined Kaizer Chiefs and left the club in what was reported to be a dramatic move to Mamelodi Sundowns. However, in his recent interview, the star cleared the air about the dramatic transfer from Kaizer Chiefs to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Looking back at the move, Maluleka told Cape Talk that there’s no bad blood between him and Amakhosi.
“There’s never grudges. One thing you learn in football, especially football, is to never burn bridges. Despite how it happened, the separation between the two parties. They’ve done so much for me, Kaizer Chiefs, and I played my heart out for them.”
“I know I left it all on the field for them,” Maluleka added.
