NURKOVIC AND ROYAL AM ISSUE IS STILL UNRESOLVED
The Serb reported the KwaZulu-Natal side to FIFA after he was dismissed in October 2022. They terminated his two-year contract just two months in, and without compensation. The former Kaizer Chiefs striker was injured for the majority of his time there sand approached FIFA who ruled in his favour. Royal AM have to settle with Nurkovic to the tune of R12 Million.

SABC Sport reports that the figure Royal AM owes to the player includes his salary for the entire contract, representatives’ fees and interest accrued from delays.

The Rockets have failed to score in recent outings against AmaZulu and Royal AM. 31-year-old Nurkovic, most recently with Royal AM, has penned a one-year deal and an option to extend when his contract runs out in May 2024.
