Kaizer Chiefs winger Kgaogelo Sekgota is linked with a possible move away from Naturena after attracting interest both locally and abroad.

On Tuesday, SABC Sport reported that Sekgota is wanted by Stellenbosch FC who have since approached Chiefs to try and lure the left-footer.
However, the publication also claimed that it’s not going to be easy for Stellies as Sekgota is also being monitored by an unnamed Belgian club.
Sekgota has already played overseas, and perhaps he still wants to go back given the money he would get compared to at Stellies.
Nonetheless, whether or not Sekgota goes to Stellenbosch or Belgium depends on the offer Chiefs will receive – that’s the asking price from Amakhosi.
HERE IS WHY KAIZER CHIEFS CAN AFFORD TO LOSE SEKGOTA
Sekgota has been with Chiefs for a season, and he’s in his final year with the Soweto giants, and they could be tempted to cash in on him.
He wasn’t a starter in the latter stages of the season, and his contribution in front of goal hasn’t been of the player he’s expected to be at Chiefs.
Now, Chiefs have already signed two wingers in addition to those they have in their squad, and those are Tebogo Potsane and Pule Mmodi.
Potsane could be seen as a direct replacement should Sekgota leave as he’s a natural left-winger while there is also Keagan Dolly and Happy Mashiane.
Of course, Potsane may take some time to adapt to the Chiefs setup but he will be expected to hit the ground running sooner rather than later.
At 29, Potsane will be expected to be playing regularly given that he’s a new player with so much talent and experience, and that would mean Sekgota on the bench.
