Although the transfer window is closed, Kaizer Chiefs are still working on two deals in the background.
FLEURS IS IN NO RUSH
Luke Fleurs’ agent Glyn Binkin has clarified the player’s situation after he was recently spotted training with Kaizer Chiefs. The former SuperSport man is a free agent after leaving Matsatsantsa recently, meaning he can still sign with a new club now that the transfer deadline has passed.
“Nothing has changed at the moment. Luke is still training at Chiefs for the assessment” Binkin told Kickoff.
“We will wait and see how they make a decision. Luke’s only been there for a couple of days. Everything is fine, no problem.
“He is very happy, he is enjoying himself, he is enjoying the training. We just have to wait and see what happens in the coming days or weeks.”

KAIZER CHIEFS CHASING ANOTHER STELLIES STAR
Qobolwakhe Sibande is the latest Stellies star on Amakhosi’s radar after the club recently sealed a deal for Sibongiseni Mthethwa. 23-year-old Sibande has played 21 matches for the club since his arrival and has been one of their standout performers. The versatile star is a specialist defensive midfielder but is capable of filling in at left-back and on the left-hand side of midfield.
“Sibane is being monitored by a few clubs including Chiefs” a source told Kickoff.
The only stumbling block is that the boy’s contract with Stellenbosch is still left with two years.”
