The transfer window may be over but Kaizer Chiefs transfer business is not. In fact, they are closing in on this R13 MILLION star.
Luke Fleurs has been under assessment with Amakhosi for several weeks now.
Furthermore, he has impressed management and they may sign him if recent reports are to be believed.
CHIEFS TO SIGN FLUERS?
Amakhosi could secure Fleurs signature now if the two parties agree on a deal.
This is because he is a free agent so he is able to sign for any team of his choosing even though the transfer window is over.
Fleurs has truly impressed the technical team. Therefore, they are considering signing him.
“He has been doing very well at training and he had impressed the technical team. He is a good young player and they feel he can add value to the team,” the Siya source stated on SoccerLaduma.
NTSEKI WORKED WITH HIM BEFORE.
Moreover, current head coach Molefi Ntseki previously worked with Fleurs when he coached the U-17 Bafana Bafana side and he was impressed with him.
“The coach knows him already but they had to look at him at training because it’s a different environment from what he was used to at SuperSport United. So far he has done very well and that’s what has impressed the technical team,” he added.
Talks are expected to take place between Fleurs representatives and Amakhosi soon.
He could cost Amakhosi big-money, according to Transfermarkt, he is currently valued at R13 MILLION. Although, as a free agent their will be plenty of bargaining room for Chiefs.
