Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has opened up on the debut performance of one Efmamjjasond Gonzalez Palacios.
The Colombian striker made his first appearance for the Glamour Boys on Saturday afternoon in their 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Take a look at Ntseki’s thoughts on the club’s latest signing.
KAIZER CHIEFS COACH OPENS UP ON GONZALEZ
“For Gonzales, the same thing as Edson [Castillo]. We’re still working very hard for him to understand the league. To also understand the opponents and also to understand our tactical approach.” the Kaizer Chiefs coach told iDiskiTimes.
“It becomes very difficult when we have a player with no pre-season and then asked to hit the ground running. And there’s no ground to hit. It’s important for us to create that ground and make him understand his qualities and that of his teammates.”
WE DON’T WANT TO CONCEDE – NTSEKI
“In terms of the tactics, I think it is something we will carry over from the last two matches into this match, so that everybody is ready and understands what is expected of him in possession and out of possession.” Molefi Ntseki told the Kaizer Chiefs Website.
“But the most important thing is we’ve been scoring goals from set plays, which makes us feel very confident going into this game.
“In the last two matches we did not concede anything, so I think it’s important that it’s a ‘zero concede’ game tomorrow and the most important thing is for us to score the goals.”
Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has provided an important update on star man Keagan Dolly.
The Amakhosi midfielder has been sidelined with a knee injury since last season, but there is some good news!
