Khama Billiat was released by Kaizer Chiefs but he’s reportedly on the brink of joining Zamalek in Egypt. Who would have thought Percy Tau would be doing battle with him there, of all places?

BILLIAT HEADING FOR ZAMALEK

According to popular ITK source UnplayableZA, Billiat is likely to join Egyptian giants Zamalek. The Zimbabwean attacker made just 10 league appearances in 2022-23, failing to score a single goal and assisting just two. To be fair, it was an injury-ravaged campaign. He’ll be 33 tomorrow, the 19th of August.

PERCY TAU ATTRACTING INTEREST FROM SAUDI ARABIA

According to UnplayableZA, via Saudi Arabian publication SportKSA, Saud Pro League side Al Shabab FC have set their sights on Percy Tau. The 29-year-old Bafana star is currently contracted to Egyptian giants Al Ahly until June 2024 though and they are reportedly keen to keep him and even extend his deal. Big-money interest from Saudi Arabia and even Premier League side Burnley could cause a rethink, however.
