There’s never been any doubt about the natural talent and technical ability of Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Matlou.
MATLOU IN LINE FOR A NEW DEAL
“The technical team is happy with his attitude and performance this season and they are the ones who have recommended that he be kept at the team for at least a further year.” a source told SoccerLaduma.
“And management had decided to offer him that one-year contract plus a one-year option. His current contract ends in June 2024 so that means he could be at the team until 2026 if the team exercises the one-year option.”
KHUNE SETS UNWANTED KAIZER CHIEFS RECORD
Meanwhile, According to OptaJabu, Chiefs have lost each of their last seven league games when Itumeleng Khune started. It’s not the type of record any player wants to have, and certainly not one you’d associate with the great man. Will he keep his place in the side for their next match against Golden Arrows on October 28th? Either way, Molefi Ntseki has plenty of time to ponder his decision.
