Kaizer Chiefs legend talks future plans after two failed moves!

A Kaizer Chiefs legend has opened up about his future plans following two failed moves since leaving the Soweto giants.

Erick Mathoho is still not contracted to any team despite being one of the first free agents from last season.

Expectations were that the former Bafana Bafana defender wouldn’t struggle to find a new club after Chiefs.

However, things are getting worse by the day as Mathoho is still kicking his heels at home and continues to train on his own.

Mathoho initially trained with SuperSport United in an attempt to secure a deal and reunite with Gavin Hunt but it wasn’t to be.

The lanky defender then tried his luck with Polokwane City but FarPost reports that he was rejected because he didn’t fit into their style of play.

Now the same publication spoke to Mathoho, who said he cannot tell where he will be playing next season as he’s been attending to some personal matters.

Furthermore, Mathoho asked for patience from his fans, adding that they will know his next destination when the time is right.

KAIZER CHIEFS LEGEND TALKS NEXT MOVE AFTER TWO REJECTIONS

“I am just relaxing and attending to some personal staff. I think now I cannot tell where I will be playing this season,” said Mathoho.

“But when the time is right, people will know about my next move. I think now people can wait.”
