More bad news has just struck Kaizer Chiefs fans yet again. Now, their new striker signing faces a delay before he can play for the Soweto giants.
Chiefs latest signing, Jasond Gonzales, whom they desperately need right now, faces a delay due to work permit issues.
He only arrived in SA on Monday, 21 August 2023. Meaning, he could only apply for his work permit when he arrives on Tuesday, 22 August 2023.
BAD NEWS FOR CHIEFS FANS AS STRIKER CRISIS LOOMS
Ranga Chivaviro is injured and so is vice-captain Keagan Dolly. Furthermore, their new recruit, Gonzalez, faces a potential delay to his Chief career.
“The player got his South Africa travel Visa last week Friday. He is now scheduled to travel to South Africa today (21 August) at 8 pm. He will apply for his SA work permit upon his arrival,” a source told Goal.
Chivaviro went off injured in the 29th minute against TS Galaxy.
To make matters with, Ashley Du Preez is currently out with a flu.
Therefore, Amakhosi management will be hoping Gonzalez can get his South African work permit as soon as possible.
