Kaizer Chiefs have let go of misfiring striker Caleb Bimenyimana, and the big Burundian has opened up on his exit from Naturena.
KAIZER CHIEFS FLOP CALEB TRUSTS IN GOD
Burundi striker Caleb Bimenyimana spent just a single season with Chiefs. He did end the 2022-23 campaign as their top scorer, but his form since the turn of the year has fallen off badly. The big Burundian bagged just a single goal in the calendar year 2023, in the Nedbank Cup round of 16 against Casric. He scored eight goals in total across 21 Amakhosi appearances.
“It was a hard decision to take but after all what happened it worth it,” he stated.
“All I can say is thank you lord, my prayers has been answered.
“I feel really happy to be free. God never disappoints me. I can’t wait for the next chapter.”

AMAKHOSI GUNNING FOR THREE POINTS AGAINST TS GALAXY
Meanwhile, without Caleb, the Glamour Boys face TS Galaxy on Sunday at Mbombela Stadium. They’ll be desperate to pick up their first win of the league campaign, to follow up an encouraging victory over Cape Town City in MTN8 action. That positive news is slightly tempered by the fact that Molefi Ntseki will be without Keagan Dolly, Happy Mashiane and Ranga Chivaviro for the trip to Nelspruit.
