The 29-year-old midfielder has penned a three-year contract with Kaizer Chiefs, finalising the deal just two days before the current transfer window closes.

A RISING STAR

Prior to his time at Stellenbosch, Mthethwa showcased his skills at Royal Eagles and Black Leopards.

However, it was with Stellenbosch that he truly made a name for himself, featuring in 29 appearances for the Western Cape side.

His impressive performances caught the attention of national selectors, earning him his first cap for Bafana Bafana in September 2022.

Mthethwa’s invaluable experience adds depth and expertise to his already promising talents.
