Kaizer Chiefs slayer Judas Moseamedi is reportedly back in the country following a brief spell with Tunisia’s El Gawafel Sportives de Gafsa.
According to Kick-Off, Moseamedi completed a move to Tunisia ahead of the season but the striker has since returned to South Africa for undisclosed reasons.
Before jetting off to North Africa, Moseamedi was in the books of Marumo Gallants but left the team following their relegation from the PSL.
The 29-year-old became the first South African to play his football in Tunisia and many were expecting his to shine due to his physique and pace.
KAIZER CHIEFS NEMESIS IS BACK
The Tzaneen-born striker had his most profilic DStv Premiership season in 2019/20 scoring seven times in all competitions. Against Kaizer Chiefs that same season, Moseamedi showed Khosi no mercy as he buried them not only once but twice in one season. In fact, he was one of the reasons why Chiefs failed to win the league that season.
His equaliser for Maritzburg United saw Amakhosi drop points and lose momentum. Many fans from the opposing side even gave him the nickname Judas “Mr Fix the Country.”
JUDAS TO “FIX THE COUNTRY” ONCE AGAIN
During his days at Maritzburg, the 29-year-old was feared and often scored crucial goals. Aside from tormenting Kaizer Chiefs, Judas was praised for his work ethic and ability to fight off defenders.
Since leaving United, Judas failed to replicate his form which saw him obliterate defences with ease.
