Kaizer Chiefs star Pule Mmodi has been called up to the Bafana Bafana squad ahead of the international break.
Hugo Broos’ side face the DR Congo and Namibia in friendly matches over the next fortnight.
While Broos was open about the lack of quality at Naturena following his initial squad announcement, he has since called up one Kaizer Chiefs star.
This comes after Mamelodi Sundowns star Themba Zwane had to withdraw from the squad due to an injury.

“Now it appears that the Belgian tactician has changed his mind, by recalling Mmodi, who was part of the preliminary squad to replace injured Zwane who suffered a face injury.” an SABC SPORT report read.
WE DON’T WANT TO CONCEDE – NTSEKI
“In terms of the tactics, I think it is something we will carry over from the last two matches into this match, so that everybody is ready and understands what is expected of him in possession and out of possession.” Molefi Ntseki told the Kaizer Chiefs Website.
“But the most important thing is we’ve been scoring goals from set plays, which makes us feel very confident going into this game.
“In the last two matches we did not concede anything, so I think it’s important that it’s a ‘zero concede’ game tomorrow and the most important thing is for us to score the goals.”
Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has provided an important update on star man Keagan Dolly.
The Amakhosi midfielder has been sidelined with a knee injury since last season, but there is some good news!
Dolly, who has been out for over four months, has finally returned to training at Naturena.
While he’ll undoubtedly be gradually intergrated back into the starting lineup, Kaizer Chiefs will indeed be pleased that their talisman is back on his feet.

“The other player who has just started training with the team is Keagan Dolly, he has been out for a very long time.” – Ntseki said as quoted by IdiskiTimes.
