Ntseki is under hot water with fans calling for him to be axed.

In fact, Amakhosi have already been dished out two fines due to fans actions. Both times, Amakhosi fans threw objects at Ntseki, demanding for him to be axed. Since then, Amakhosi have been knocked out of the MTN8 and they also lost their recent PSL match to Cape Town City. Further, prompting fans frustration and demands for a new coach at Naturena. Here are the three possible candidates for the Amakhosi hotseat if he is axed.

THREE CANDIDATES FOR CHIEFS JOB

First thing is first, Amakhosi management have not said they will be axing Ntseki.

Therefore, this is purely speculative with a focus on the potential future coach if Ntseki does not turn things around.

1) MANQOBA MNGQITHI

Mngqithi is currently still at Sundowns. However, he is no longer head coach after Rhulani Mokwena was promoted as the solo head coach at Chloorkop.

So, Mngqithi could consider a move where he will be the head coach. He has the aptitude, experience and accolades worthy of coaching Amakhosi having won several titles as co-coach with Mokwena at Sundowns. Furthermore, he was linked with Amakhosi before the surprise announcement of Ntseki.

2) CAVIN JOHNSON (CHIEFS HEAD OF ACADEMY)

Johnson was recently appointed the new Chiefs head of academy.

Interestingly, recent reports claim that he may be in line to take over from Ntseki. He is another man who has been linked with Amakhosi for several seasons now.

Truter was being considered by Amakhosi management before they appointed Ntseki.

They believe his PSL experience could serve the club while. Moreover, Truter is currently considering leaving Sekhukhune United. Meaning, he could be available soon if Amakhosi management are still interested.
