Kaizer Chiefs will be buoyed by the return to fitness of four key senior stars after the international break.
AMAKHOSI GETTING STRONGER IN NUMBERS
The Glamour Boys played a friendly match against Motsepe Foundation Championship side TUKS on Friday. Encouragingly, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Keagan Dolly and Ranga Chivaviro all featured in the match, indicating they’re inching closer to a return to first-team action. Meanwhile, Mozambique defender Edmilson Dove is fit again after a groin injury in pre-season against Young Africans. He was on the bench for his nation’s dramatic 3-2 win over Benin in an AFCON qualifier.
To have four players of this calibre back is a massive boost for head coach Ntseki. There’s experience, versatility and game-breaking talent in there.
KAIZER CHIEFS ARE BACK IN ACTION AGAINST ROYAL AM
The Glamour Boys will be itching to get back to DSTtv Premiership duty after stringing together two consecutive wins in the league prior to the break. After that, they counted themselves a little unlucky to draw 1-1 with Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final first leg. Chiefs host MaMkhize’s Royal AM side on Saturday, September 16th at FNB Stadium. Kickoff is at 17:30.
Meanwhile, hit up James Freemantle for more insights, analysis and love for the beautiful game of rugby.
