NKOSINGIPHILE NGCOBO : A RISING STAR WITH THE NUMBER 12 LEGACY
Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, whose nickname is ‘Mshini’ , born in the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg, is one of the academy’s success stories. Having joined the reserve team in 2014, he consistently displayed his skills and dedication, catching the attention of the coaching staff.
In 2019, he was promoted to the senior team and hasn’t looked back since. Ngcobo currently plays as an attacking midfielder for Amakhosi and is known for his technical abilities and vision on the field. With his impressive performances, he has earned the honour of donning the number 12 jersey that has been worn by the likes of Donald “Ace “ Khuse and Thabo “Tsiki – Tsiki “ Mooki.

SABELO RADEBE : A VERSATILE TALENT MAKING HIS MARK
Another notable youth academy graduate is Sabelo Radebe, who joined the reserve team in 2017 before recently progressing into the senior team in 2021.
