Khama Billiat’s transfer saga continues after he was reportedly given an ultimatum ahead of his rumoured PSL transfer move.
The former Kaizer Chiefs star has been topping trends after the Cape Town City boss dropped a huge Khama Billiat hint.
KHAMA BILLIAT GIVEN A TRANSFER ULTIMATUM
Cape Town City boss John Comitis revealed his interest in signing Khama Billiat on Radio 2000.
The Cape Town City boss said, “I think he’s 33-years-old now. And ja. You never say no to a player like that. I’m not sure what his intentions are at the moment. But it’s a good one to think about.
“Who’s speaking to you now from my club? Just remember, I brought Khama from Zimbabwe to South Africa when I was at Ajax, remember that? So I know what Khama’s all about.”
However, new developments around his transfer to Cape Town City have emerged.
Sportscaster Austin Ditlhobolo revealed on Facebook that the star had been given an ultimatum to decide whether to join Cape Town City.
Ditlhobolo posted: “Cape Town City hand Khama Billiat deadline date. The accomplished attacker has to decide whether or not he will be joining the Citizens by the end of Thursday, October 5. Billiat, 33, has been a free agent since leaving Kaizer Chiefs on June 29.”
No doubt the post has since thrust Khama Billiat into the top trends, with several fans weighing into his rumoured transfer with their two cents.
Khama Billiat has been making headlines since he departed from Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs after his contract expired.
Despite being allowed to stay at the club at the expense of his wages, the star dumped the negotiations in the eleventh hour and went awol, leaving many guessing about her whereabouts.
Since then, he has yet to find a club. Several clubs in the PSL and back home in Zimbabwe have been reportedly interested in signing the star, but nothing yet has materialised over the months.
