Kaizer Chiefs fans may not be too pleased to learn that Thulani Serero is not going to join their club after he was unveiled elsewhere!
Serero has officially joined UAE Pro League side Khorfakkan Club, meaning he will not be returning to the PSL any time soon.
Khorfakkan are one of the respected teams in the UAE, but they haven’t won the league since their triumph in the 2018-19 season.
Last season, Khorfakkan finished 10th on the log. In fact, they finished 10th for the past three campaign.
And they would now hope Serero would help them challenge for league honours this season.
Serero has been in the UAE since 2019 when he joined Al Jazira from Dutch side Vitesse.

THULANI SERERO HAS BEEN PLAYING ABROAD FOR OVER A DECADE
Serero has been plying his trade abroad for over a decade now having left South Africa in 2011.
At 33, Serero still has a few years left in him at the top level – but whether or not he intends to retire at home remains to be seen.
Interestingly, he will get to be around his former Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane who is at Al Wahda.
