Man City suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wolves on Saturday afternoon.
The reigning Premier League champions lost their first league game of the season, thus ending their 100% winning start to the season. Wolves’ Hwang Hee-chan scored the winning goal in the 66th minute.
Despite the defeat, Man City still top the log by one point.
Guardiola watched the loss from the stands due to suspension but after the game, he admitted that Wolves were the better team on Saturday.

“Congratulations Wolves, they deserved it,” Guardiola said.
“We had chances and struggled to deal with transitions and they played very well.
“We were there and settled well and the question is when the opponent is faster and quicker, we have to accept it.
