Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki says there will come a time when he’ll play both of his new strikers.
Amakhosi have signed Efmamjjasond Gonzalez and Ranga Chivaviro this season but the duo are yet to play regularly.
The former Bafana Bafana coach, quoted on FARPost shared his view on how both strikers are different and again what they bring to the table.
“When I look at the profile of Chivaviro and Gonzalez, basically we are not going to play a game where we got a striker who is standing there all the time,” said Ntseki.
“With him, we have someone who is very mobile, someone when he’s on the side he becomes a winger. He takes on the players and is good on the ball.”
NTSEKI CONTINUES TO STRUGGLE
Gonzales made his first start in Chiefs colours during Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Royal AM at the FNB Stadium. Ntseki believes the Colombian striker could mix well with Chivaviro going forward.
“I think it’s a good mixture of us doing a proper profile of him. Over time I think he will be a player with Ranga that will definitely help us move forward.
“It’s not only about his being a target man, it’s about him being a reference point. A reference point can be on the side, can be in the midfield, can be at the top,” Ntseki said.
AMAKHOSI TO PLAY SUPERSPORT UNITED THEN SUNDOWNS
Kaizer Chiefs next face off against SuperSport United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday evening in a DStv Premiership encounter.
