Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has reportedly invited two new faces to join first team training at Naturena.
DStv Diski Challenge stars Lungile Nkosi and Donay Jansen have been roped into first team training sessions.
Nkosi, a highly promising 20-year-old goalkeeper, is reportedly being earmarked as Itumeleng Khune’s long term successor.
While lethal reserve attacker Jansen could provide the blunt Amakhosi’s attack some much needed bite as the season progresses.
NTSEKI WELCOMES TWO NEW FACES TO KAIZER CHIEFS FIRST TEAM TRAINING
“Lanky 20-year-old Lungile Nkosi is the man Chiefs are believed to be looking at, to fill Khune’s gloves in future.” a SoccerLaduma report read.
“Nkosi is one of two Chiefs players who have been roped in by coach Molefi Ntseki to train with the club’s first team, alongside high-flying Donay Jansen.”
In other news, former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat has played just TWO minutes of PSL football in 2023.
Billiat’s only appearance this year came in the final league match of the season for the Glamour Boys.
He was brought on just before half-time and subbed off due to injury before the second half got underway.
That would turn out to be Billiat’s last appearance for the mighty Amakhosi! And now, the Zimbabwean star is edging closer to a blockbuster move to Cape Town City!
Experienced football boss didn’t ‘deny’ rumours suggesting his side are trying to lure the big fish back to Cape Town.
Billiat was let go of by the Amakhosi in June after the player and club couldn’t reach an agreement over a contract extension at Naturena.
EX CHIEFS STAR KHAMA BILLIAT EN-ROUTE TO CAPE TOWN?
“Who wouldn’t be?” Comitis told Radio2000 as quoted by IdiskiTimes regarding his interest in signing ex Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat.
“I think he’s 33-years-old now. And ja. You never say no to a player like that. I’m not sure what his intentions are at the moment. But it’s a good one to think about.
“Who’s speaking to you now from my club? Just remember, I brought Khama from Zimbabwe to South Africa when I was at Ajax, remember that? So I know what Khama’s all about.”
