Sithebe is facing stiff competition from in-form Edson Castillo, Mduduzi Mdantsane, and Yusuf Maart in the midfield and will need to perform at his very best when Molefi Ntseki decides to field him.
Former coach at AmaZulu Joey Antipas told FARPost that the midfielder needed to chin up and fight for his place.
“Sithebe is a quality player. But he still needs to work hard and understand that he is playing for a Glamour club. Its not easy there,” he said.
Antipas coached the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder while he was playing for AmaZulu a few seasons ago.
“He should chin up and fight for his place. The new additions obviously bring something new.
