ROYAL AM AND NURKOVIC ISSUE STILL UNRESOLVED
According to reports, the Serbian striker reported MaMkhize’s side to FIFA after he was dismissed in October 2022. They terminated his two-year contract just two months in, and without compensation. The former Kaizer Chiefs striker was injured for the majority of his time there and approached FIFA who ruled in his favour. Royal AM has to settle with Nurkovic to the tune of R12 Million, as per a FIFA ruling in June.
SABC Sport reports that the figure Royal AM owes to the player includes his salary for the entire contract, representatives’ fees and interest accrued from delays.

Prior to the start of the 2023-24 campaign, the Rockets cashed in on Ivorian striker Djakaridja Junior Traorè. He scored seven goals and supplied an assist in just 16 appearances last term prior to his switch to Istanbulspor in Turkey. Galaxy boss Sead Ramovic identified the striking department as an area of weakness in his squad. The Rockets have failed to score in recent outings against AmaZulu and Royal AM. 31-year-old Nurkovic, most recently with Royal AM, has penned a one-year deal and an option to extend when his contract runs out in May 2024.
