Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly looking to send Wandile Duba out on loan so that he can get valuable playing time.

AMAKHOSI SEEK A SOLUTION FOR DUBA

According to Soccer Laduma, Wandile Duba could be loaned out soon with intense competition for places in their forward line. Former Gallants striker Ranga Chivaviro has joined Ashley du Preez, Christian Saile and Caleb Bimenyimana at Naturena. Du Preez in particular has started the season strongly with two goals in three outings. The Glamour Boys have also ben linked to 24-year-old striker Jasond Gonzalez.

A SoccerLaduma source claims that Chiefs don’t want to put pressure on Duba.

“He is a very good, young talented striker. But at the moment, the team is looking at results more critically,” said the source.

“His situation is different from the midfielders. In his position, goals are needed, and they don’t want to put him under that intense pressure at the moment, that’s why they want to loan him out,” they added.

KAIZER CHIEFS STILL WEIGHING UP CALEB OPTIONS

On the topic of attackers, former Amakhosi defender David Kannemeyer believes Burundi striker Caleb Bimenyimana deserves a run in the side.

“I think the boy’s first season in the PSL was not that bad,” said Kannnemeyer.
