Erling Haaland seems to have been watching Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa this season, with yet another hat trick in the Premier League at the weekend.
HAALAND RIPPING UP THE PREMIER LEAGUE RECORD BOOKS
Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland has scored 42 goals in 39 career Premier League appearances to date. That tally includes FIVE hat-tricks already after his treble against Fulham at the weekend. Haaland now has six goals from four EPL appearances this term. His hat-tricks are arriving at a frequency of one every 8.4 games!
LEPASA PRODUCING THE GOODS FOR ORLANDO PIRATES
26-year-old Bafana Bafana striker Zakhele Lepasa is the first PSL player to hit double figures for goals across all competitions this season. It’s quite the turnaround for Lepasa, who has been more noted for his work ethic and defending from the front than his clinical finishing ability. Nkosinathi Sibisi, Thabiso Monyane, Innocent Maela, Monnapule Saleng and Lepasa all play friendlies for Bafana Bafana against DR Congo and Namibia.
