Nkosingiphile Ngcobo endured a difficult season in 2022-23 which was affected by injuries and a family bereavement. Even the 23-year-old will himself admit he doesn’t score enough goals or provide enough assists, but his quality as a footballer isn’t in doubt. With the right attackers ahead of him, his numbers can start to flourish. Will Ranga Chivaviro and Pule Mmodi’s respective arrivals unlock a new level in his game? Amakhosi fans will hope so. Just 13 appearances in the league last season is a stat he’ll certainly want to improve on first, and then the goals and assists should come.

Head coach Molefi Ntseki will be delighted that Ranga Chivaviro, Keagan Dolly, Edmilson Dove and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo are all back in training and nearing full fitness.
“Hopefully, when we come back from the FIFA week, we’ll have a full squad, and all the players will be available,” Ntseki said.
