Siyethemba Sithebe’s journey at Kaizer Chiefs has hit a roadblock due to limited game time under coach Molefi Ntseki.
Despite being a talented player, the 30-year-old has only featured in one game under coach Molefi Ntseki so far.
His absence from the starting lineup has sparked speculation about Sithebe’s future with the team. However, his agent has clarified that the player is currently recovering from an injury and is working towards regaining full fitness.

SITHEBE’S CAREER AT KAIZER CHIEFS
Siyethemba Sithebe joined the Kaizer Chiefs at the beginning of the 2022–2023 season.
While the midfielder had high hopes for his debut campaign with the Amakhosi, he has faced setbacks due to injury and the subsequent lack of game time.
Despite this, Sithebe remains committed to fighting for his spot in the starting eleven.

COMPETITION FOR THE MIDFIELD POSITION
One of the reasons behind Sithebe’s limited playing time may be the strong competition he faces from his teammates. Edson Castillo, who joined the club in July 2023, has been performing exceptionally well in midfield.
The Venezuelan player has already scored three goals in just five games, making it difficult for Sithebe to regain his spot.
Additionally, Yusuf Maart has also made five appearances for the team, further increasing the challenge faced by Sithebe in earning regular playing time.

AGENT’S STATEMENT ON SITHEBE’S FUTURE AT AMAKHOSI
Despite the rumours surrounding Sithebe’s absence, his agent, Musa, has addressed the concerns.
Musa explained that Sithebe was part of the team leading up to the Mamelodi Sundowns game but sustained a knock that prevented him from participating.
“He was part of the team going into that Mamelodi Sundowns game, but he picked up a knock. He’s getting back to his fitness,” Musa told FARPOST.
With strong competition from Castillo and Maart, Sithebe will have to prove his worth and impress coach Ntseki to secure regular minutes on the field.
Sithebe will need to demonstrate his skills and fight for his spot in the starting lineup. With strong competition from Castillo and Maart, it won’t be easy, but Sithebe’s determination and commitment will play a significant role in shaping his future at the club.
