As the first half drew to a close, Mamelodi Sundowns responded swiftly. Reeve Frosler failed to clear the ball, and Riberio Costa delivered a well-placed cross to Shalulile, who clinically finished in the 45th minute, grabbing his second goal of the match.

INTENSE SECOND HALF
Both teams came out firing in the second half, with Kaizer Chiefs showing more urgency to find an equalizer.
They came close in the 62nd minute when Ashley du Preez connected with Saile’s cross, but his attempt was saved superbly.
The pressure continued in the 69th minute as Saile’s volley veered wide of the goal, leaving the home side frustrated.
Despite their valiant efforts, Mamelodi Sundowns’ defense held firm, denying Kaizer Chiefs any chance to level the score.
