Kaizer Chiefs are not done with their signings just yet. In fact, Molefi Ntseki and Amakhosi management are in the market for another player.
Amakhosi are in the market for a left back.
Meaning, they are still looking to sign another left back before the end of the transfer window.
CHIEFS IN THE MARKET FOR A LEFT BACK
This report was published last month, affirming the rumours.
“Amakhosi are said to be in the market for another striker and a left-back before the window shuts at the end of next month,” according iDiskiTimes.
Therefore, they are searching for a left back for this month with the transfer window closing on 22 September 2023.
Currently, S’fiso Hlanti is the senior left back whilst Happy Mashiane has not featured under Ntseki in the PSL. It remains to be seen whether Mashiane will be loaned out before the end of the season. As things stand, he does not seem to be a part of Ntseki and Amakhosi managements plan for this season.
STARS OVERLOOKED BY NTSEKI SO FAR
Bruce Bvuma, Happy Mashiane, Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Wandile Duba are all yet to feature under Ntseki.
This seems unlikely to change given their current squad context. Bvuma is behind Brandon Peterson and Amakhosi legend Itumeleng Khune. Furthermore, Mashiane is unlikely to feature with Hlanti preferred and Edmilson Dove likely to be utilised in this position when he returns from injury.
Mahlatsi sits behind a packed midfield pecking order consisting of Yusuf Maart, Edson Castillo, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Tebogo Potsane and Samkelo Zwane. So, a loan move or potential exit will improve his chances of playing. Finally, Duba is behind Ranga Chivaviro, Ashley du Preez, Christian Saile and new recruit Jasond Gonzales has just been recruited.
