The team dominated in terms of goal-scoring opportunities, creating numerous chances to break the deadlock.
In the 27th minute, Mmodi’s cross sailed across the face of the goal after a well-executed steal, providing another good chance for Kaizer Chiefs to take the lead.
However, missed opportunities seemed to be the theme of the day as Royal AM also had their fair share of near misses.

COACH MOLEFI NTSEKI EXPRESSES HIS SATISFACTION
Coach Molefi expressed his satisfaction with his team’s performance, crediting their improved ball possession and ability to create chances.
However, he highlighted the need to work on their technical ability to convert those opportunities into goals.
“I think it’s coachable because when you do finishing exercises, it is not only about the technical side of it but also the tactical side of it,” Ntseki explained.
“I think it was an improved performance in terms of our ball possession. We created enough chances to win the game; unfortunately, the decision-making on the ball in terms of scoring let us down.”
