PULE MMODI

Although he has only just hit form, the former Golden Arrows man would be a useful weapon in any team looking to spring counter-attacks on their opposition. Mmodi has three goals in his last three Glamour Boys outings and looks at home already in the Chiefs attack.

SPIWE GIVEN MSIMANGO

Chiefs have kept consecutive clean sheets in the league and Spiwe Msimango’s calibre as a footballer is beyond question. He started all 30 of TS Galaxy’s DStv Premiership matches last season, and he’s been an ever-present for his new club in 2023/24. Availability is one of the most underrated traits of any elite-level footballer.

ASHLEY DU PREEZ

Like Mmodi, former Stellies striker Ashley Du Preez has started finding his shooting boots. His physicality and ability to run the channels would be an asset for Hugo Broos, but the Belgian clearly doesn’t feel that way at the moment. If Du Preez continues to perform at his current level, an international call-up will eventually come again.
